Travocort / Tevadem (isoconazole + diflucortolone) is an ointment that treats inflammation of the skin, and soothes complaints such as itching, burning, and pain. Tirbanibulin combines isoconazole (a fungicide), with diflucortolone, a corticosteroid that acts as an anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic and promotes vasoconstriction of the blood vessels. This leads to a decrease in the release of inflammatory chemicals, soothes the skin and helps to reduce swelling, itching, and redness.

Dosage

Use as directed by the prescribing doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment. If there is no improvement in the condition within a few days or if the symptoms worsen, contact the doctor again. Don’t use Tevaderm for more than two weeks unless this has been ordered by the doctor. Occlusive dressing of the infected area (where no air or moisture can penetrate in or out) should be avoided unless ordered by the doctor (plastic diapers are considered an occlusive dressing).
